A Mom in Need
Cindy Grossman, a former MOPS, sent this request to us. There is a young mother at her church having a baby in March. She needs the following items :
✰Maternity Clothes - Size Large
✰Baby clothes - She is having a girl
✰Car Seat
✰Bassinet
New or gently used items would be appreciated. We will have a basket at the registration table for collections at our January through March meetings. Maternity clothes are the most urgently needed items. For more information, contact Cindy at (203) 512-0509.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER
Kidslink.
We will be making card kits for children of military families through KidsLink Downrange.
MOPS groups all over the country will be making kits and sending them to Texas to be deployed all over the world. Your gift of time and creativity will mean so much to these families.Check out the website at www.kidslinkonline.org.
We are in need of the following supplies.

Card stock-any color, adhesives' (glue stick/gel, tape runner, glue dots, double sided tape), ink pads, themed stickers and word titles for Valentine's Day, Fathers Day,Mothers Day, 4th of July, 1st day of school, Birthday, Winter Holidays and Thinking of you. MOPS Outreach for September and October
Scrappin’ For Preemies
Each week at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, parents gather around a table in the NICU Conference Room and scrap their child’s journey. With the help of a Certified Child Life Specialist and a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, parents are encouraged to engage in conversations with other parents, utilize journaling techniques and create visual memories that will illustrate their baby’s first few months of life.
MOPS will be helping by collecting scrapbooking supplies at the September and October MOPS Meetings.
